Washington State University STEM majors Clara Ehinger, Julia Jitkov, and Brayan Osegueda Velazquez are the latest recipients of national Barry Goldwater distinguished scholarships.

WSU Pullman senior Katy Ayers, a bioengineering major minoring in biochemistry and mathematics, is the latest finalist for a Marshall Scholarship to study in the United Kingdom.

WSU Pullman students Katy Ayers and Jessalyn Swanson are the latest recipients of prestigious, nationally competitive Udall Undergraduate Scholarship awards.

Two WSU future research scientists—Jacob Buursma and Stevie Fawcett—have received awards from the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program.

WSU’s latest recipients of Fulbright U.S. Student awards—India Dykes and Lauren Hudson—will study, research, and teach in Europe and Southeast Asia this coming year.

John Bussey, Kalli Stephens, and Thomas Ballinger have received $7,500 Goldwater awards to support their education, said program director April Seehafer.
