About Us

The WSU Distinguished Scholarships Program (DSP) works with hundreds of students each year as they imagine, create, and define their own transformational experience. Specifically, our program provides one-to-one mentoring with students across the WSU system as they develop the skills to apply for highly prestigious and nationally competitive awards such as the Rhodes, Fulbright, Marshall, Truman, Gates Cambridge, etc. These awards help finance distinctive educational experiences at the student’s home university, or at renowned institutions abroad. Many high-achieving and goal-oriented students begin preparing as early as their first year in college for these awards.
