Boren Workshop

This information session is open to all undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in learning languages and studying in world in world regions critical to U.S. interests including Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. (Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded, as well as countries in Western Europe.) In general, successful candidates are interested in learning less commonly taught languages in countries that are significant to U.S. national security and are individuals committed to a career in the federal government.

This workshop, hosted by the WSU Distinguished Scholarships Program, features Kyle Cox, Outreach and Recruitment Analyst for the Boren Awards. Mr. Cox will be on hand to detail the benefits of the scholarship, selection criteria, and answer any questions you may have.
