Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement Upcoming Events

The Distinguished Scholarships Program works with all students, in all majors, from all campuses. All of our workshops are provided via Zoom. If you have any questions about using Zoom to attend a workshop produced by the Distinguished Scholarships Program, please email DistinguishedScholarships@wsu.edu at least 24 hours prior to the event and we will assist you.

Please note: We also list events in our calendar which are produced by other units and are of interest to students pursuing distinguished scholarships. These events might require attendance in-person; check the full description of the event to see if a teleconferencing option is available.

Learn About Fulbright Awards, Session 1

April 21 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Logo of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

Have you thought about applying for a one-year Fulbright award to study, conduct research, or serve as an English Teaching Assistant in another country? Would you like to learn more? Join April Seehafer, Director of the Distinguished Scholarships Program, along with a current WSU Fulbright semi-finalist as they talk about the benefits of the award, break down the application process, and answer any questions you have! While this workshop is designed for juniors and seniors, all interested students are invited to attend.

All three of the spring 2020 Learn About Fulbright Awards workshop sessions will cover the same general information, so you do not need to attend more than one:

  • Tuesday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 22 at 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m.

Please email DistinguishedScholarships@wsu.edu prior to the scheduled workshop time for Zoom meeting ID and password.
